My priorities may be a bit off . . .
. . . but whilst my heart does go out to my fallen comrades in the Medlab, I do have a rather pressing question: What is a Deathstrike and why am I meant to be concerned? I mean, yes, certainly the monicker "Deathstrike" does not imply a sunbathed field of daisies through which fluffy kittens cavort, but there are levels.
(And no, I did not mispost; I simply do not care to ask on the team comm and be ridiculed for not reading over the entireity of seven years' of mission reports whilst a trainee.)

I did read all the reports.

You have no idea how little that narrows it down.
(Though the Weapon X detail is a bit more helpful.)
I freely confess to skimming the older ones. I think I may be forgiven for forgetting some of the details, as I came into the trainee programme shortly after a brainwashing. Some retention problems are to be expected.

I think we may need to petition to formally change Deceased to "Deceased" in villain dossiers. The lack of quotes reads as rather optimistic.

I wasn't intending to criticize you, I apologize. I was particularly fervent in studying the mission reports when I was a trainee, it was my favorite part of the training.

So I am to assume she is "Lady" Deathstrike like Ms. Braddock is "Lady" Braddock, ie, under threat of impalement.

If you are ever minded to do so, great comedy can be had by making up a drinking game. I believe there was a list at one point, though I'm not sure where it went. Fair warning, however; abiding by the "Take one drink every time Cable returned from a mission unconscious" clause alone could lead to liver failure.

Aren't the good guys supposed to be optimistic?

Which is a shame cause dude, legal in like 3 weeks.

And yes, I suppose they are, but at this point I feel there is a fine line between optimism and gullibility.

Be grateful you did not partake during Version 1.0. Jen and I were often quite sick until we made special allowances for Acts of Dayspring.
. . . come to that, perhaps my memory has less to do with skimming and more to do with that.

I don't tend to participate in drinking games, but I imagine it would not be too hard to get drunk quickly thanks to clauses such as that. If there were not so many underaged team members, I would suggest it as a fun team bonding exercise.

The more I think on it, the more I think this an idea worth pursuing. Few enough of us were around for Alkalai Lake, and in light of this new threat I think it would only be responsible to review the pertinent files.
We must do this. For the good of the team.

As could explicit knowledge of, say, how to avoid surprise attacks by vicious coatracks. We wouldn't want to repeat Mr. Dayspring's mistakes.

I daresay we should even take turns reading the reports aloud. It is, after all, the only way to do Voices.

On the other hand dude, some of the mission reports are pretty funny.

Nonetheless, I feel it only appropriate to wait until those involved in the mission have recovered. If nothing else, it sounds as if they would appreciate a drink.

Then again, the fact she's in uni means that we no longer bear sole responsibility for whether or not she drinks.
