My priorities may be a bit off . . .

. . . but whilst my heart does go out to my fallen comrades in the Medlab, I do have a rather pressing question: What is a Deathstrike and why am I meant to be concerned? I mean, yes, certainly the monicker "Deathstrike" does not imply a sunbathed field of daisies through which fluffy kittens cavort, but there are levels.

(And no, I did not mispost; I simply do not care to ask on the team comm and be ridiculed for not reading over the entireity of seven years' of mission reports whilst a trainee.)

Isn't half the team in the medlab half the time they are coming back from stuff? I know without Nathan there's a lot less "people with concussions" going on, but Clarice gets irradiated and people come back half dead all the time. (And then die and come back apparently) What about this is unusual other than "villain with cheesy name"?

Yeah, all I know is that Angel hurts and apparently people are busted up. Though if they're all badly busted up maybe the Deathstrike name isn't covering for him/her/them/it being a pansy. Maybe. Or tiny zombie mutant chickens pecked them to death.

Aren't the good guys supposed to be optimistic?

Well, Yvette did get -her- ass kicked, so I'm pretty sure it was bad, whatever it was. I mean, dude.
